Founder Story

Evolv Pickleball is built by a player who refused to settle.

Founded by a former tennis player who initially underestimated the game of pickleball. When he was first introduced to the sport, he dismissed it. Too Slow. Too Simple. Not Challenging Enough.

Two years later, at the start of the COVID shutdown, he gave it another shot and was instantly hooked. What began as curiosity quickly turned into obsession. He immersed himself in the sport, competing, studying strategy, leading local pickleball communities, organizing tournaments, and serving as an ambassador for multiple paddle brands.

Like many serious players, he started chasing the next paddle. Every few weeks, a new release promising more spin, more pop, more control. Some performed well. Few felt complete.

That frustration sparked a question. What would the ideal performance paddle actually feel like? Not just powerful. Not just controlled. But Balanced. Intentional. Complete.

With years of competitive experience and deep involvement in the game. He began obsessing over paddle construction, difference cores materials, carbon layups, perimeter weighting, balance points, and subtle feel off the face.

This wasn't about chasing trends anymore. It was about refinement.
